start of something

so my day started bad.

since there's only one side to my bed, i can't really say i woke up on the wrong side, but you get the point. i slept through my alarm, got a cold shower and was eventually late for class. wonderful eh?

but its all ok. people love me even though i have these flaws and crappy things happen to me. is it really going to matter next year that it all happened? probably not. so i continue my day and just thank God that he woke me up at all, that i had a shower, that i have the means to go to class and college, and that i had food to eat for breakfast. that's more than most people have so i need to be thankful.

this day is the start of something that will get better. i'm sure of it
